Shortbread goes through in penalties and Malted Milk wins 3/1

I'd have to go with the hobnob by a whisker and the bourbon by a mile... it's chocolate, say no more.

Those are very tricky ones.
Hob Nobs are a great dunking biscuit, especially if you suck the coffee out and redunk them. They can take loads of dunking can Hob Nobs. And they come in a mini-size as well, so you can buy a bag and pretend to be a giant. Can be bought chocolate-coated, too.
Shortbread comes in a multitude of varieties. Petticoat or finger? Rounds? Tartan gift box or bog-standard pack? Not too good for dunking. They're the sort of biscuit that you wouldn't bother buying yourself, but get bought as a gift from every relative who goes on holiday to Scotland.
Bourbons are always the biscuit I head for when a plate of biscuits is available at work. They're great for disecting; you can even eat one bit of biscuit then melt the cream over a nice cup of tea or coffee, before licking it off. A good everyday biscuit.
Malted Milks are much a maligned biscuit. I could eat a pack a day. Great little dunkers.
A tricky couple of fixtures.
I'm going to go for Hob Nobs in the first match, because of their great versatility; a good everyday biscuit, but can be dressed up with chocolate for special occasions. Plus, anything that can take that much coffee and still keep going is easily going to beat a poncy tartan shortbread.
I think I'll be slightly controvertial in the second match and go for Malted Milks (I'm even surprising myself with that one); great little all rounders, with more staying power that Bourbons in the hot weather (no melty cream).
So, Hob Nobs and Malted Milks.

Crumbs!HobNob (oaty, rustic, unconventional, slightly nutty) beats Shortbread (too buttery, plain).
Bourbon (classic, chocolatey, cream centre, morish staying power) only marginally beats Malted Milk (milky, malty, but not morish enough).
